Abstract
- The K intensity in the soil was maintained adequate for chrysanthemum growth by applying a fertilizer solution containing K at 5 × 10-4 M/1 in a constant-drip fertilization system. A 10-fold increase or decrease changed the uptake of K probably because the soil solution was not in equilibrium with the fertilizer solution. Changing the concentration of K in the fertilizer solution also caused a reduction in Ca, Mg, P, and N absorbed by the plant.
