In vivo anti-inflammatory activity of β-caryophyllene, evaluated by molecular imaging

We have recently reported that β-caryophyllene (BCP) can suppress metastasis of colon cancer, induce apoptosis, and inhibit a broad spectrum of microorganisms. Here, we report anti-inflammatory effect of BCP in the carrageenan-induced edema paw model, supported by molecular imaging using fluorescence molecular tomography (FMT). A significant (p
