First record of Aegagropila linnaei (Cladophoraceae, Chlorophyta) in the Udmurt Republic

Abstract: Aegagropila linnaei (Chlorophyta, Cladophoraceae) is reported for the first time for the territory of the Udmurt Republic from Pazelinskiy Bay of Izhevsk Reservoir. The habitat description and morphological characteristics of the alga are provided. It is suggested that the species is threatened in the habitat. A. linnaei is recommended to include in the Red Data Book of the Udmurt Republic.
