Abstract: This paper presents an impact of cross-polarization discrimination (XPD) for the ATSC 3.0 MIMO system. Laboratory tests are carried out to analyze system performance with different XPD environments. The laboratory test results show that the ATSC 3.0 MIMO system can provide reliable system performance for XPD above 10 dB.
