Abstract

We report a case of hemangioma patient with phlebolith in the masseter.A 10-year-old girl exhibiting buccal swelling when biting consulted our hospital. The protrusion was mobile and when the patient was asked to bite strongly, an elastic soft tumor with slight swelling was detected.Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and echography suggested angioma in the masseter. The tumor was excised by external incision.Pathologically, it was diagnosed as cavernous hemangioma. In the lesion, two phleboliths were detected. We report this case and the treatment with reference to the literature.
