Abstract
- Проблема дистанционного и онлайн образования, несмотря на окончание пандемии коронавируса, остается актуальной, пути её решения нацелены на долгосрочную перспективу. В данной статье рассмотрен процесс проектирования и реализации онлайн-тренажера для обучения студентов-бакалавров, чья будущая работа будет связана с информационными технологиями. Онлайн-тренажер предназначен для ди-станционной поддержки дисциплины «Теория информации», главным образом для научения решать практические задачи по данной дисциплине. В основу проектирования онлайн-тренажера легла методо-логия структурного анализа и проектирования информационных систем SADT. Программная реализация выполнена в виде веб-приложения. Разработанный программный комплекс дает возможность просматривать теоретический материал, проходить входное тестирование, знакомиться с образцами поэтапного решения разного типа задач, многократно самостоятельно тренироваться в решении задач и просматривать результаты.<br />The Covid-19 pandemic radically changed and disrupted the existing higher education system. Teachers and stu-dents were forced to switch over to remote education. There was a pressing need to use existing and develop new online courses. However, some students were already using online courses for their studies before the pandemic. Therefore, problem solution for improving and developing new modern educational tools, methods of their ap-plication in the educational process is not a short-term order, but is intended to a long-term outlook. The article considers design and implementation process of online simulator for Information Theory academic subject for bachelors majoring in IT areas, for example, Applied Mathematics and Informatics, Information Security. The training course structure was elaborated for which the core units of the academic subject were defined. Infor-mation system subject field of the online simulator is analyzed, the requirements for the system being created are stated, namely, ensuring the generation of information theory theoretical minimum, questions for initial check, examples of task phased solution, tasks for multiple self-training and the choice of sophisticated tools to imple-ment these requirements. Models of the online simulator operation were developed via SADT (Structured Analy-sis and Design Technique). A set of function block diagrams of the information system was obtained using IDEF notations. The development was continued by constructing data structure model using IDEF1X notation. This made it possible to start straightforward construction of system database physical model. Web-based application was chosen as the development result and as part of the software implementation of the online simulator. Infor-mation Theory is one of the fundamental for engineering and IT academic subjects, it provides knowledge in the area of measurement, compression, encoding of information, data transmission over communication channels amid interference. The major goal of developing an online simulator is to teach a student to solve practical prob-lems step by step, stage by stage. The developed software package makes it possible to use it as a complementary learning tool, as well as self-guided course for mastering Information Theory academic subject.
