Health psychology in Britain – past, present and future

Health Psychology Updateis pleased to introduce an article by Jane Wardle, the current Chair of the DHP, that was presented as the discussion to the DHP symposium held at the Society’s 2001 Annual Conference entitled, ‘State of the Science of Health Psychology’.Updatehopes to feature articles like Jane’s each year to introduce the thoughts, plans and vision of the DHP and the Chairs themselves. Jane will become Deputy Chair of the Division after the Annual General Meeting of the DHP which is being held at the Annual Conference, and Suzanne Skevington, who is currently Chair Elect, will then become Chair.
