Abstract
- Precisely-microstructured hydrogels via ultrafast laser processing have triggered a wide range of multi-functional applications such as artificial muscle, self-folding or biological robotics. Herein, we modify polarization of pulsed laser and wavelength to optimize the structural fixity and feature improvement of nanowires/microarchitectures in ultrafast laser processing. Paralleling linear polarization with laser scanning direction of suitable laser wavelength is demonstrated as key factor improving feature size during 3D formation of two-photon hydrogelation.
