С момента развития информационной сети Интернет, появления социальных сетей и крупных сетевых новостных каналов появилась возможность различных способов манипуляции на личность. Мы рассмотрели основные возможности психологического воздействия на человека и пути его избегания. Отмечено, что среда человека содержит невероятное количество информации, с помощью которой ведется постоянная борьба за влияние на массовое сознание и культуру, воздействие на психику людей с помощью различных манипуляторных технологий. Развитие общества вывело манипуляцию на качественно новый уровень, при котором даже традиционные СМИ проигрывают по сфере влияния. Связано это с формированием и всеобщим распространением сети Интернет. Эффективность предотвращения воздействия сформируется только при готовности открыто защищаться, бросать вызов, что позволит уберечь личность, общество и государство от преступлений, ложной информации и их последствий.

The researchers examine the main possibilities of psychological impact on a person and ways to avoid it. It is noted that the human environment is an incredible amount of information, with the help of which there is a constant struggle for influence on mass consciousness and culture, the impact on the psyche of people with the help of various manipulative technologies. The development of society has brought manipulation to a qualitatively new level, in which even traditional media lose in terms of sphere of influence. This is due to the formation and universal spread of the Internet. The effectiveness of impact prevention will be formed only if you are ready to openly defend yourself, challenge, and protect the individual, society, and the state from crimes, false information, and their consequences.
