The Application of Earthworms in the Waste Management

The important and typical roles of earthworms in the eco-environmental protection are illustrated in this paper through their application in the treatment of solid waste, sludge stabilization as well as the wastewater purification. Earthworms can hasten the composting process to a significant extent with production of a better quality of compost.
