Distributed parameter analysis of a blumlein-line N2 laser

Abstract
- A theoretical analysis of the N 2 Blumlein laser circuit based on the distributed parameter model is carried out. Some typical parametric dependences are presented and compared with the well known lumped parameter model. The results indicate the validity of the distributed parameter model over a wider range of parametric studies. The analysis is quite general and can be easily extended to study other fast discharge laser systems such as TEA CO 2 , excimer and metal vapour lasers.
