ChemInform Abstract: New Cembradiene Diterpenoids from an Undescribed Caribbean Gorgonian of the Genus Eunicea

Five new cembradiene diterpenoids (1–5) and two previously known compounds (7 and 8) have been isolated from an undescribed Caribbean gorgonian of the genus Eunicea. The structures of these compounds were assigned on the basis of chemical and spectral studies, and the relative stereochemistry of cembradiene 3 was defined by X-ray crystallographic methods.
