Detection of He II Electromagnetic Radiation Induced by a Second Sound Wave

Abstract: The paper describes the millimeter-wave electromagnetic field generator tuned to resonance with the roton line in the superfluid helium (He II) spectrum. It is shown that periodic oscillations of the normal component in the wave of the second sound are accompanied by a flux of electromagnetic radiation in the opposite direction.
