Abstract

The “thermal effectiveness-transfer unit” charts developed by the authors, for multipass exchangers, assume that the overall heat transfer coefficient varies as a parabolic function of temperature; their use can lead to greater accuracy in calculating heat transfer areas. Les auteurs ont construit des chartes ďefficacite thermique pour des echangeurs a passe multiple. Ils ont suppose que le coefficient global de transfert de chaleur varie ďune facon parabolique avec la temperature. Ľemploi de ses chartes peut conduire a une plus grande precision pour le calcul des surfaces ďechange de chaleur.
