Abstract

The control of switched systems for regenerative retarding of electric vehicles is presented. On the basis of considering internal parameter perturbation and external disturbance, the vehicle regenerative retarding can be described as this switched system whose state matrix satisfies interval uncertainty and the nonlinear disturbance meets state secondary bounded. The robust switching control law is designed by using LMI method and convex combination technique. Simulation results show that the switching control of the vehicle regenerative retarding is robust and has the H∞ disturbance attenuation level γ. The control of current and voltage is stable and the braking distance meets the requirements of national standard.
