Abstract: This review article is aimed to evaluate the effects of foliar application of cytokinin on enzyme activity and photosynthetic parameters. The results obtained on gas exchange and photochemical activity may be related to a standard mechanism of activation defense under specific environments. Further on the basis of study of enzyme activity it can not be stated that cytokinin have effective role in the delay of oxidative damage as contradictory results have been observed by various workers.
