The U.V. absorption spectra of p. Amino-salicylic acid and some related compounds (I)

The U.V. absorption spectra of p.amino-salicylic acid were measured both in water and in ethanol. The results of these measurements show that there is no discrepancy between the work of Way a.o. and Drain a.o. as was suggested by the latter authors. In addition the U.V. absorption spectra of some related compounds were measured.
