Chirality Dependence of Absorption in Carbon Nanotubes

Abstract
- We present an analytical approach to the optical absorption in arbitrary carbon nanotubes. We show the chirality dependence of the absorption coefficient to be the result from both the JDOS and the optical matrix element.
