Abstract
- Overwintered Anthonomus grandis Boheman can be sterilized and egg laying can be greatly reduced in the laboratory by feeding them a diet containing busulfan (1,4-butanediol dimethanesulfonate). A feeding table designed to attract weevils as they emerged from hibernation quarters attracted a small percentage of the total overwintered weevils that were in the field on July 1.
