Abstract

The aim of study to analyze the needs the development of mathematics learning device on 21st century skills-based Senior High School in Padang City. The population of the study is high school student’s grade XI and Mathematics teacher in Padang city in 2018/2019. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method. The instrument was collected by observation and questioner and Analyzed descriptively. Conclusions of this research are: (1) learning material of high school mathematics class can be developed with 21st century skills-based mathematics learning; (2) Students have sufficient ability to follow 21st century mathematics-based learning; (3) teachers have the ability to use 21st century skills-based mathematics learning tools
