Abstract

Objective To establish the norm of Chinese Military Mental Disorders Predictive Scale(MMDPS),and provide a reference for research on the Chinese military medical psychology.Methods About 11,017 military personnel were selected by random cluster sampling,and tested with MMDPS.A statistical analysis based on the results was performed.Results The total norm of the scale was 13.57±11.54.A statistical significance was found by comparing the total scores of the army,navy,and the air force with the partial factor scores(P < 0.05).The differences obtained through comparing the total score of cadres and soldiers with the partial factor scores(P < 0.05) were also statistically significant.The total norm of mental disorders predictive scale for Chinese soldiers,services and arms norm,and cadres and soldiers norm was found.Conclusion Using the Military Mental Disorders Prediction Scale,the total norm of mental disorders predictive scale for Chinese soldiers and cadres was determined.
