Bilgi Çağı olarak adlandırılan günümüzde toplumlar bilgiye her zamankinden fazla gereksinim duymaktadır. Bilgi artık, tek güç ve belirleyici olmuştur. Kitle iletişim araçları da toplumun tek haber ve bilgi kaynağı haline gelmiştir. Bu süreç globalleşme ile daha da yoğunluk kazanmaktadır. Globalleşme, bireylerin tüm dünyadan haber almasını da gerektirmektedir. Ancak bu durum tek yönlü, dengesiz ve adaletsiz bir akışı işaret etmektedir. Bu çalışmada, bilginin neden tek güç olduğu, globalleşmenin nasıl gerçekleştiği, tek yönlü, dengesiz ve adaletsiz haber ve bilgi akımı karşısında neler yapılması gerektiği tartışılmıştır.
In Information Era, the societies need information more than ever. An information became unique power and determinant. Media became unique news and information source as well. This procces is getting be more concentrated by globalisation. In the process of globalisaion, indivuduals have been to informed to all around the world. But this process indicate the flow which is one sided, imbalance and injustice. In this article, the subjects of why information was unique power, how was globalisaion realised, what can be done aganist the news and information flow which is one sided, imbalance, injustice, were disscussed.
