Abstract

S semenom plemenskih bikov lisaste pasme je bilo osemenjenih 85,2 % govejih plemenic, s semenom plemenjakov mesnih pasem 7,8 %, s semenom črno-bele pasme 5,5 % in s semenom rjave pasme 1,6 % krav in telic. During a ten-year period, we observed the performance of insemination of pure bred cattle female in area of the Slovenske Konjice Veterinary station. Different factors influencing the performance of insemination of pure bred cattle females were observed. In the survey, there were five veterinarians involved who, over the period of ten years, performed 43,687 individual inseminations. Among those, there were 7,086 first-time inseminated heifers and 36,601 of first-time inseminated cows. 85.2% pure bred cattle females were inseminated using the semen of Simmental breeding bulls, while 8.7% were inseminated using the semen of different stud meat breeds, 5.5% of the semen came from the black-white breed, and 1.5% of the cows and heifers were inseminated using the semen of the brown breed bulls. The average NR of all inseminators in the period of ten years is 65.6%. We came to the conclusion that the successful performance depends on the veterinarian, ranging up to 8.29%. Further, we found that the performance has declined in the last few years, as much as 6.9%, so it has been proven that successful performance of insemination in heifers tends to be higher than in cows.
