La memoria migrante y la escucha de los silencios en la experiencia del parto en mujeres migrantes bolivianas en Comodoro Rivadavia (Chubut, Argentina)

In the present article I analyze the characteristics that the memory of immigrants comprises and the scope of the silences in the experience of childbirth in Bolivian migrant women living in the city of Comodoro Rivadavia. The majority of these women come from rural Cochabamba and Potosi, with memories of indigenous birth as practices developed by them or by the women of their families, in conflict with the medicine implemented in the hegemonic health system of the host society. The response to the misunderstandings is silence, and this article attempts to explain these through the various testimonies of migrant women from Bolivia.
En el presente artículo propongo analizar las características que asume la experiencia del parto en mujeres migrantes bolivianas en la ciudad de Comodoro Rivadavia (Chubut, Argentina). En su mayor parte estas mujeres provienen de la zona rural de Cochabamba y Potosí, con registros memorísticos del parto indígena como práctica desarrollada por ellas o por las mujeres de sus familias, las cuales entran en conflicto con la medicina implementada desde el sistema de salud hegemónico en la sociedad receptora. La respuesta ante los desentendimientos es el silencio, siendo esta manifestación objeto de análisis a través de los diferentes testimonios de las mujeres migrantes bolivianas.
