Norwegian investigations in 1984 -1985 on juvenile herring

This paper describes tlte Norwegian investigations on juvenile herring (0-, I- and II-group) of the Norwegian spring spawning stock. The investigations were carried out in Norwegian coastal areas and in the Barents Sea in the period June 1984 - May 1985. Empahasis is made on the distribution of the strong 1963 year class, and the distribution and migration of this year class is compared with an earlier strong yearclass. that of 1959.
