A research about changing the surface properties of natural fibers by using atmospheric plasma

Gelenekseltekstil terbiyesi islemleri yüksek enerji, su ve kimyasal madde tüketimineneden olan, kirlilik yaratan, maliyeti yüksek, çevresel atığa sebep olan veürünün performansını olumsuz yönde etkileyen islemlerdir. Yeni anlayıslardahilinde, günümüzün sıkı ekonomik ve ekolojik taleplerini karsılayacak çokfonksiyonlu, basit ve çevre dostu yöntemlerin gündeme gelistirilmesigerekmektedir. Plazma teknolojisi de bu anlamda önemli bir alternatif halinegelmektedir.Tez çalısmasında; doğal liflerden pamuk ve yün gibi lifleri hava veargon olmak üzere iki farklı atmosferik plazma ortamında isleme tabitutulmus ve yüzeyde meydana gelen modifikasyonlar farklı yöntemlerleincelenmistir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Plazma, atmosferik plazma, hava plazma,argon plazma, yüzey modifikasyonu, pamuk, yün. In the globalizing word, increased competition terms andenvironmental problems bring about new search and mentalities.Conventional textile treatments are high energy and water consumingexpensive processes which cause effluent and also affects the performance ofthe product in an unfavorable way. In the concern of new mentalities newmethods which are multifunctional, easy, environment friendly and providetoday?s strict economic and environmental demands have to be devoloped.
