Nouvelle lecture des rapports interculturels entre les communautés aux marges de l’Apennin méridional (régions Campania et Puglia, Italie) à partir de découvertes récentes

International audience; The current study of the Palma Campania facies (Early Bronze Age) leads to a redefinition of thefacies itself in terms of chronology and geographical extension. Some excavations of the neighboringareas, especially the Posta Rivolta site (northern Puglia), give cultural features indicating substantiallinks with the Campania region during the height of the Early Bronze Age. At Posta Rivolta, theceramic artifacts belong to the cultural context of the Palma Campania facies. The chronological dataprovided by 14C dating confirm the contemporaneity of this occurrence with some villages of thePiana Campana destroyed by the Avellino eruption (3,550 ± 20 BP; 1,951-1,773 cal. BC 2σ), likeCroce del Papa (Nola). These features are mainly based on cultural similarities due to therelationships between Campania and the Tavoliere plain.
