Abstract

Classification of bacterial isolates is essential for the development of the microbiology of art objects. However, obtaining all the information needed for describing a new species or taxon is often difficult. G+C mol% content in microorganisms is one of the recommended characteristics for the standard description of bacterial species. In this study we present a novel fluorimetric method to estimate the G+C mol% content in microorganisms.<br />J.M. González and L.
