Abstract

Item does not contain fulltext A computer version of the Purdue Pegboard Test was developed and implemented on an XY-tablet or digitizer with a cordless pen, connected to a computer. The program was written in Borland TurboPascal. Twenty subjects were tested with both the computer version of the test and the original version to determine whether the two were equivalent. In addition, the subjects filled out a handedness questionnaire to determine whether the hand preference could be measured with both versions of the test. No significant correlations were found between the scores on the computer version of the Purdue Pegboard Test and the scores on the original version of the test. The scores on the handedness questionnaire correlated only with the left hand scores of the original test.
