- 15th ECONOS Conference (European Conference on Non-Linear Optical Spectroscopy); Göteborg, Sweden; April 24th – 27th 2016; http://www.chalmers.se/en/conference/econos2016/Pages/default.aspx<br />Optical population of vibrationally excited states by Stimulated Raman pumping as a means for high resolution investigation of excited states at low temperatures has been widely demonstrated1. In the present communication we show the feasibility of collisionally populating excited states others than the ones optically pumped, keeping pressure at levels low enough to allow for the observation of fully resolved Q branches of light molecules.
