Planet som försvann, gömdes och kapades : En fallstudie kring rapporteringen i Dagens Nyheter och Aftonbladet om det försvunna Malaysia Airlines planet MH370

When flight MH370 from Malaysia Airlines disappeared from the radars on the 8th of mars, newspapers around the world started speculating about what happened. This is a study showing how Aftonbladet and Dagens Nyheter published speculations of their own during the following two weeks. With a critical discourse analysis (CDA) and a source criticism analysis we have analyzed a total of eight articles from Aftonbladet and Dagens Nyheter separated in four from each newspaper.Our result shows how both newspapers have used a different approach to the sources available. Our study shows that Dagens Nyheter have used more of the news agency material, while Aftonbladet has a greater use of the reports from international media channels.
