Análise sobre o estilo de Liderança e a Perceção sob as Estratégias de Mitigação e resposta face ao Covid-19 em Organizações em Portugal

Este trabalho de dissertação foi desenvolvido em volta da temática liderança e papel importante que a mesma possui na estratégia e no desempenho das organizações, em especial em circunstâncias de crise como a atual conjuntura de pandemia do covid-19. Tendo como objetivo geral do trabalho, analisar de que forma os diferentes estilos de liderança se relacionam com as estratégias de mitigação e resposta das organizações em Portugal, face à pandemia do Covid- 19 durante o ano 2020. E os objetivos Específicos, caracterizar o estilo de liderança dos profissionais analisados, descrever respostas estratégicas e mitigações percebidas pelos profissionais na gestão de suas organizações frente ao covid-19 e relacionar a respostas estratégicas e mitigações com os diferentes estilos de liderança. Através de uma pesquisa de natureza descritiva, e aplicação de uma metodologia quantitativa, em que pela aplicação de inquérito online, a um grupo de indivíduos com características que os identificassem como líderes, segundo alguns autores mencionados no referencial teórico, ou indivíduos que ocupassem cargos de chefia ou gestão em suas organizações, obtivemos dados, que foram posteriormente trabalhados e transformados em informação pertinente e útil para a elaboração deste trabalho. Dos dados obtidos do inquérito online, após sua análise na aplicação estatística SPSS, foram criados tabelas e quadros onde se procedeu ao cruzamento entre diferentes variáveis e estabelecendo correlações entre as mesmas de forma a termos uma perceção mais elucidativa sob a temática em estudo. Foi identificado a existência de estilos predominantes de liderança no universo de indivíduos do estudo tal como obtivemos a perceção de que a maioria das variáveis em estudo não apresentam significativa correlação entre elas. Tendo em consideração a atual conjuntura social de pandemia, pretende-se correlacionar a variável estilo de liderança e outras variáveis como a variável de mitigação da pandemia do covid-19 de forma identificar estratégias mais adequadas de combate a pandemia nas organizações em Portugal durante este período. This dissertation work was developed around the theme leadership and the important role it has in the strategy and performance of organizations, especially in crisis circumstances such as the current covid-19 pandemic situation. The general objective of the work is to analyze how the different leadership styles relate to the mitigation and response strategies of organizations in Portugal, in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic during 2020. And the Specific objectives, characterize the style of leadership of the analyzed professionals, describe strategic responses and mitigations perceived by professionals in the management of their organizations against covid-19 and relate the strategic responses and mitigations with the different styles of leadership. Through a descriptive research, and application of a quantitative methodology, in which the application of an online survey, to a group of individuals with characteristics that identify them as leaders, according to some authors mentioned in the theoretical framework, or individuals who occupied positions of leadership or management in their organizations, we obtained data, which were later worked and transformed into pertinent and useful information for the elaboration of this work. From the data obtained from the online survey, after its analysis in the SPSS statistical application, tables and tables were created where different variables were crossed and correlations were established between them in order to have a more enlightening perception of the theme under study. The existence of predominant styles of leadership in the universe of individuals in the study was identified, as we obtained the perception that most of the variables under study do not present a significant correlation between them. Taking into account the current social situation of the pandemic, it is intended to correlate the leadership style variable and other variables such as the covid-19 pandemic mitigation variable in order to identify more appropriate strategies to fight the pandemic in organizations in Portugal during this period.
