Child's perspective of fathers involvement in family life

Ovaj rad namijenjen je istraživanju djetetove perspektive o očevoj uključenosti u obiteljski život. Otac je bitna uloga u djetetovom životu, a njegova uključenost počinje u ranom djetinjstvu djeteta pa čak i dok je dijete još u utrobi. Djetetu je od rođenja potreban kontakt s ljudima, a najbliži su otac i majka koji mu pružaju toplinu, sigurnost, ljubav, zaštićenost. Kroz pravilan odnos između djeteta i oca, dijete aktivno, istražuje svijet, otkriva svoje mogućnosti i lakše preuzima rizike. Cilj je istraživanja utvrditi perspektivu djeteta o očevoj uključenosti u obiteljski život. Istraživanje je provedeno u dječjem vrtiću ''Vukovar 1'' među djecom predškolske dobi od 5 do 6, a u istraživanju je sudjelovalo 20 djece. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju načine kako očevi svakodnevno provode vrijeme s djetetom, zatim da djeca najviše vole provoditi vrijeme na zraku zajedno s ocem kroz razne rekreacijske aktivnosti. Rezultati su istraživanja pokazali da su očevi uključeni u kućanske poslove po potrebi, odnosno kada majka nije u prisutnosti. I naposlijetku dijete doživljava očevu uključenost u obiteljski život na isti način kao i majčinu, odnosno obraća se jednako ocu i majci. This paper is intended to explore the child’s perspective on the father’s involvement in family life. The father plays an essential role in the child’s life, and his involvement begins in the child’s early childhood and even while the child is still in the womb. A child needs contact with people from birth, and the closest are the father and mother who provide him with warmth, security, love, protection. Through the proper relationship between the child and the father actively, the child explores the world, discovers his possibilities and takes risks more easily. The aim of the research is to determine the child's perspective on the father's involvement in family life. It was conducted in the kindergarten "Vukovar 1" among preschool children aged 5 to 6 years with the participation of 20 participants. The research revealed the ways in which fathers spend time with their child on a daily basis, and the results showed that children prefer to spend time outdoors with their father through various recreational activities. Then it was obtained that the fathers are involved in household chores, but mostly when necessary, ie when the mother is not present. And finally, the child experiences the father's involvement in family life in the same way as the mother, ie addresses the father and mother equally.
