Calculation of the structure of a multi-family building in Olot according to the actions derived from the new seismic hazard map

This project has as main aim to design and calculate a reinforced concrete structure to build a block of residential units in the municipality of Olot. In order for me to be able to have a deeper knowledge and understanding of the project, CAD plans of the different floors have been provided where the interior layout can be appreciated as well. I also had access to the geotechnical study. It is important to highlight that before entering the data in the program, a predimensioning of the structure is justified with the project data. The structural calculus is done using CYPECAD. Thanks to the structure modeling, an optimized structural solution is reached. The resulting document of this work includes the following elements: calculation statement, floorplans, measurements, budgeting and energetic cost.
