Abstract
- A 90K Custom microarray was employed to highlight the effects of Pentachlorophenol on Drosophila melanogaster transcriptome in order to identify potential metabolic pathways involved in detoxification of polyhalogenated aromatic hydrocarbons. Microarray assays were performed on mRNA from early third instar larvae challenged with different PCP concentrations (0, 20 and 2000 ppm) incorporated in dietary supply.
