Democratic Educantion and Public Policies to Promote the Freedom of Belif in the Curriculum School of Religious Education in Minas Gerais

This article aims to analyze public policies with regard to religious instruction, making it a subject of study that focuses on Brazilian cultural-religious diversity. Using the deductive hypothetical method shall be made to review the curriculum Basic Common Basic Education of the State of Minas Gerais in relation to democratic teaching of religious education through agonistic democracy theory Chantal Mouffe. To support democratic education idea also be used other theoretical frameworks: Theodor Adorno when dealing with emancipatory and John Dewey education about the importance of environment where education is developed.
O presente artigo visa analisar a política pública que diz respeito ao ensino religioso, constituindo-o como objeto de estudo que privilegia a diversidade cultural-religiosa brasileira. Utilizando o método hipotético dedutivo far-se-á a análise do Currículo Básico Comum do Ensino Fundamental do estado de Minas Gerais no que diz respeito ao ensino democrático do ensino religioso por meio da teoria de democracia agonística de Chantal Mouffe. Para dar suporte a ideia de educação democrática serão também utilizados outros referenciais teóricos: Theodor Adorno ao tratar da educação emancipadora e John Dewey sobre a importância meio ambiente onde a educação é desenvolvida.
