Abstract

International audience; In the necropolis of Palmyra, only the Three Brothers tomb had preserved its painted decoration covering walls and vault. Dated IIe-IIIe s ad,it was discovered at the end of the xixth century. At the request of the dgams, campaigns of study and documentation were undertaken between 2004 and 2009. The result of this multidisciplinary approach is a monograph (forthcoming); particularly important after the occupationof Palmyra in May, 2015
