Abstract: This communication introduces a fast methodology for the analysis of arrays of antennas placed on a ground plane that are fed by means of Substrate Integrated Waveguides (SIW). The methodology is based on the use of a numerical method to analyze each element, and the simultaneous use of cylindrical modes and spherical modes to connect the elements in the SIW layer and in the radiation region, respectively.
