Failure analysis of systems' components based on characteristic energy bands

We present a new method to troubleshoot the causes of failure in complicated systems such as offshore water injection set-ups. We employ physico-chemical constraints and greybox estimates to categorize the failed modes of operations by the energy content in the modes’ spectra. Particular emphasis is given to the critical modes of failure i.e. positive feed-back loops.
