The Transport and the Socio-Economic Characteristics of the Varaždin Region

U radu se analizira odnos prometne (u ovom slučaju cestovne) mreže i prometne dostupnosti te demografskih i socio-ekonomskih značajki Varaždinske regije. U područjima bolje prometne povezanosti i dostupnosti ustanovljeni su pozitivni demografski procesi i veći stupanj socio-ekonomske transformacije, odnosno urbanizacije naselja.
In this article relation of transport network (in this case road network) and transport accessibility to demographic and socio-economic characteristics of the positive demographical processes and the higher level of the socio-economic transformation (urbanization) were found.
