El álbum ilustrado. Las ilustraciones como elemento de construcción de significados

Este texto tiene como objetivo estudiar las relaciones entre texto- imagen en textos multimodales, concretamente álbumes ilustrados, así como comprender y analizar como los niños y niñas en la etapa primaria reciben este tipo de creaciones literarias y como las ilustraciones les ayudan a comprender mejor el significado global de los cuentos. También pretende ser un esquema de orientación para los maestros y maestras que tengan como objetivo la alfabetización visual y literaria en sus aulas a través de las lecturas guiadas y en voz alta como proyectos de impulso a la lectura. The present text is aimed to study the relations among text and image in multi-modal texts specially in picture books, as well as to understand how children in primary education stage perceive these literary products and how illustrations help them to create meaningful understanding of the whole story. It also provides teachers who are aimed to promote literary and visual literacy in the classroom by means of read-aloud and guided reading activities of a guidance to promote reading habits.
