Abstract
- Work of a regenerator as a part of the steel- smelting furnace is considered. Mathematical modelling of thermal work of the regenerator of the steel-smelting furnace taking into account the melting dust in the upper ranks of a checker is performed. It is shown that to reduce the harmful effect of dust drift on furnace work is possible by changing the channel cross section of the filling. It is shown that thermophysical properties of a dust and character of its adjourment in channels of a filling render a greater influence not on thermal, but on a hydraulic operating mode of a generator. Reduction of flow area raises heat transfer factor in a checker at simultaneous reduction of a surface of heating that mutually compensates their influence on the temperature of the heated air. For indemnification of decrease in temperature of heating of air measures should be taken for an intensification of radiant heat exchange in heat transfer to heated up air. It is offered to intensify heat exchange from a checker to air by increasing of the maintenance of water steam in air. Increase of the maintenance of water steam raises a radiant component in a heat transfer from a regenerator to air. As a result, air humidifying provides increase in temperature of heating approximately on 70-80C on each 1% of increase of the maintenance of water steam in air.
