Abstract

Mathew Lipman work and Institute for the Advancement of Philosophy for Children have inspired many people around the world to deal with philosophy for children. Thus, from Australia to Europe, from Africa to Asia, many different schools of philosophy for children have emerged. Some of these currents remained less faithful to Lipman' s original teaching, while others adopted the work with children to their society. One such school was created by the Croatian Association Petit Philosophy. The Association for supporting informal education, critical thinking, and philosophy in practice “Petit Philosophy” was founded in 2009 in Zadar, From 2009. Until today they implement more than 20 educational projects on the EU level, and slightly fewer projects on the national, Croatian level. In my lecture I will show examples of how Lipman influenced of Petit Philosophy works through projects: - Project “View into One' s Own Thinking”, which has been implemented in schools since 2008 – today. - &quot ; Who' s Afraid of Corruption, yet?!.&quot ; - carried out twice in the school years 2010/2011 and 2014/2015, with students from 7 to 11 years old. - Super Righteous&quot ; - Critical Thinking for Knowing and Respecting Human Rights, carried out in 2022. - ETHIKA - Ethics and Values Education in Schools and Kindergartens (Erasmus+) – 2014- 2017. - BEAGLE - Bioethical Education and Attitude Guidance for Living Environment (Erasmus+) – 2018-2020.
