Parameters for assessment of late hospital admission of patients with acute myocardial infarction

Abstract
- The aim of this investigation was to analyze the total time from the onset of chest pain to the time of hospitalization in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI), and to estimate the parameters that could influence on late hospital admission. Results: A total of 1314 patients with diagnosis of AMI were adimitted to CCU of University Hospital Split during the 1999, 2003 and 2005. The measurement included the time from the onset of chest pain to admission to CCU.
