Abstract
- Authors in their paper are examining the long- term tendencies in the factors of Croatian agricultural production. They are advocating the hypothesis that the tendency of further increase in the productivity per person might be obtained only if the agricultural policy will be able to offer to the young rural population adequate education for agriculture and income parity with the remaining population. Without it, the ageing of active agricultural population accompanied with feminization of labour, might become the threat to the future and prosperity of agriculture. The authors are recommending the policy of creation of economically viable farms.
