Abstract

In this paper we studied and compared the effects of nine-month of physical training. For this purpose we studied 7-year-old-boys participating in 9-month-training in soccer, track and field and judo, and non-additionally physically engaged same aged controls. Experimental programs consisted of 3 times 45 minutes additional weekly exercise programs. The morphological measures and motor-endurance changes and differences were studied. No significant differences were found between the groups at the study's entry, excepting 20M, where track and field group was superior compared to control group. All the experimental programs led to more significant improvements in some anthropological characteristics, than control group. In conclusion, it is hard to rank the experimental programs regarding the multidimensional implications on some anthropological characteristics. It is much more appropriate to conclude that each program assured a specific influence on some anthropological characteristics variables, highly important in the particular sport which was performed.
