Contribution to the Mediterranean biodiversity preservation: the specially protected island areas network in the Adriatic Sea

The network of specially protected areas on Croatian part of Adriatic Sae with strictly defined management regulation would allow the preservation and rapid re-establishment of favorable environmental condition. In our contribution we will present three phases of planning the active preservation and sensible use of bioresources along Croatian coast.
