Abstract
- The process of planning and management is very complex in organizational systems in which also belongs an overhaul of complex technical systems (overhaul in the processing and chemical industry, repair of vehicles, machinery and equipment, ...). There are numerous examples of projects that have been called into question by reason of exceeding the set deadline of completion and thus the project price increase made this investment irrational even before the beginning of its implementation. Classical methods of planning and management are inadequate to such requirements of development so the technique of network planning has become an indispensable technique for planning and management of a very complex projects. The nature of such projects is not often compatible with the assumption of the estimated duration of activities and thus the total duration of the project as a deterministic size, so in such cases, the duration of the activity should be observed as random variables, to which should be adapted and the procedure for calculating time parameters. By using data from the existing technical documentation, available literature and practical experience, in this paper was made the analysis of duration time in relation to costs and cost analysis in relation to the duration of the project by using PERT / COST method.
