Abstract

Absolute intensities of about 100 lines of CO2, have been measured in the region from 6894 to6988 cm−1. Our measurements include 3ν3(00031-00001 ) as well as the principal hot band 3ν3+ ν2− ν2(01131-01 101). The squared transition dipole matrix elements and Herman-Wallis factors are: [formula] The measurements were made independently in Paris and in Ottawa and were found to be in good agreement.
