Abstract
- •The average prevalence of Enterococcusspp was approximately 70%.•E. faecaliswas the most frequent isolated species, followed by E. faecium.•Resistance to tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones and macrolides were frequent.•Enterococcusspecies harbored oxazolidinones-resistance genes.•Need to include seafood in the surveillance of antibiotic resistance.
